A Mauser M03 in Australian Snow. Really?

Yes readers, it does snow in Australia, sometimes, when the whole place isn't on fire. I read somewhere that our land area that gets snow in winter is actually larger than that of Switzerland. Just don't expect the same depth or quality. :-)

Here is a picture taken yesterday of a friend's Mauser M03 Extreme, leaning against a pretty cold looking Eucalyptus mauserrestis. At first look I thought the lump in the background was a big wild boar, also resting. An uncanny resemblance.

This was just after dawn on what turned into a still, sunny beautiful day. One for the memory bank. And to think I was at home doing chores and stuff when I could have been out in that freezing cold.

Well done that man. :-)
